I am a New York-based, board-certified genetic counselor and Assistant Professor, with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience in cardiovascular and pediatric genetics. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to advancing clinical education and governance serving as President of the American Board of Genetic Counseling and editing Practical Problems and Approaches in Genetic Counseling (Routledge), a clinical guide for practitioners in genomic medicine.

As one of the earliest contributors to the Global Genetics Directory, I lead our quantitative research initiatives. My focus is on leveraging empirical data and rigorous workforce analysis to evaluate global practice needs, address systemic gaps, and inform the directory’s long-term strategic direction.
